The cottages are ideal for couples and smaller parties during the quieter months and are well suited for families during the school holidays. The extensive well-maintained grounds benefit from two fishing lakes and a children’s play area. There are walks around the grounds as well as some local footpaths. Lower Aylescott Cottages are all well-equipped and furnished to a good standard. The nearby village has a pub and local shop.
