The stone cottage is around 150 years old and is hidden away up a quiet walkway close to the village market place. Originally the servant’s quarters for the Rising Sun Inn and later a frame work knitter’s home the cottage has been completely renovated to provide a cosy base for exploring the beautiful Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park.
The cottage is light and airy and has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. There is a new kitchen, a lounge/dining room with wood burning stove, double bedroom, single bedroom and a new bathroom with a deep bath and shower over. There is full gas central heating. Outside there is a small raised garden with table and chairs. There is a lockable garden store for bikes and other equipment.
