Helm Byre, Helm Knott and the adjoining Farmhouse date back to the 17th century and display a wealth of original features to remind you of its ancient past, by way of exposed beams, flagged floors and even the odd piece of farming ironmongery or two. Numerous walks along bridle paths and fell sides are readily available from the door, the cottage having a delightful, spacious patio area from where to take in the fabulous scenery.
Coombe Cottage can be booked with River View Cottage and Riverbank Cottage on the same site to accommodate up to 16 people.
The cottages are reached down a narrow, bumpy track so please take care with low vehicles.
