Helm Knott (accessed by an external stone staircase) Helm Byre and the adjoining Farmhouse date back to the 17th century, Helm Knott displaying a wealth of original features to remind you of its ancient past, by way of exposed beams, and even the odd piece of farming ironmongery or two.
