Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley the location is superb for exploring the highlights of the North of England as it separates the Lakes District fells from the Pennines and also gives easy access to the Yorkshire and Durham Dales.The scenic Carlisle to Settle railway route runs through Appleby and makes a great day out. Further afield, the Northumberland National Park along with Hadrian’s Wall and the Scottish Border are within an hours drive. Superb walking, cycling, golf and fishing are all available near by. A good selection of shops and pubs 500 yards.
