Kingfishers and Heron can be seen catching their prey in the river below, whilst sheep graze the land alongside the access road and surrounding the cottage. This really is a super place for lovers of nature and the thoughtful owners have also installed a "bird cam"  in order for you to get even closer to some fascinating local wildlife. Numerous walks along bridle paths and fell sides are readily available from the door, the cottage having a delightful, spacious patio area from where to take in the fabulous scenery.
