There are many walks to be enjoyed from the door as well as easy access to Newlands, Borrowdale and the Western Lakes. There is a bridle way immediately behind Ladstock Hall where you can walk to Braithwaite, a little over half a mile, which has a village shop, restaurant and 2 pubs each serving good food and real ale.

When the owners stay at the property, they bring their dogs, so the apartment is not pet allergy free.
