If you want to be near Hadrian’s Wall then you cannot get closer than this, Bleatarn Park is situated literally on the wall with exclusive access to it, in a lovely rural setting 7 miles east of Carlisle. There are walks in either direction, west towards Carlisle or east to the Roman Fort at Birdoswald and other places of interest along the way. There are currently 3 properties available at Bleatarn Park, 2 on the ground floor which accept pets and 1 on the first floor which is ’pet free’, with a choice of 1 or 2 bedrooms. All 3 offer very good stylish accommodation, but at very affordable price. Cyclists can enjoy the quiet country lanes which extend for many miles in all directions and the central location means the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Eden valley are all within a half hour drive. Children will love a day at ’Walby Farm Park’, which is within walking distance. The nearest pub is 2 miles, or the historic city of Carlisle is 7 miles, which has great shopping and night life and places of interest. The market town of Brampton is 4 miles, with a choice of restaurants, pubs and shops and there are several golf courses close by.
