The pool is heated to 30 degrees and has a fast lane for continuous swimming, there is also a sauna to relax and unwind after a good days walking. The cottage is 100 yards from the village bakery and 200 yards from a pub serving good food. Melmerby is a pretty village at the foot of the Pennine Hills, at the start to the ascent of Hartside and close to the Lake District.
