These two, single storey barns (refs 29635 and 29636) converted from an old grain store and grain mill, provide the perfect holiday accommodation to explore this quiet and secluded corner of Cornwall, but are only a short drive from the coastal town of St Mawes and the pretty little village of Port Holland, with its beach and rich history of smuggling. These attractive adjoining stone cottages were once the home of the village cobbler (Shoelace Cottage, TC6) and his workshop (Bootlace Cottage, THE). Set in the beautiful and historic south coast village of Tywardreath, they are within easy reach of the seafaring village of Fowey which offers excellent sailing, kayaking and occasional dolphin-spotting opportunities, as well as restaurants, galleries, cafés and local shops. This collection of 17th century stone, semi-detached barn conversions (refs 30378, 30379, 30380, 30381, 30382 and 30383), located in the owners’ grounds, sit in a secluded spot, just yards away from the South West Coastal Path and the picturesque Millendreath Beach, which is close to Looe on Cornwall’s beautiful south coast.
