Find cottages in CornwallVisit Cornwall

The county of Cornwall has been attracting holidaymakers for decades and is without doubt one of the UK's most loved holiday destinations, with its rich abundance of natural assets; beautiful beaches, dramatic sea cliffs, pretty fishing harbours and winding country lanes.

Cornwall's unique charm and its stunning countryside and coastal landscapes are easy to access in this compact corner of south west England and you won't have to travel far from your Cornish cottage to find it!

A host of top quality visitor attractions and holiday activities await you and here you'll also find a fine selection of Cornish cottages, suitable for families and couples alike. But before you start packing your bags you might like a few suggestions for things to see and places to go on your break.

The Eden Project is undeniably one of the most popular attractions in Cornwall. This all-weather oasis offers a wealth of stunning flora in an amazing collection of 'biomes'. Or, if you fancy getting out in the open-air then a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan is a must.

Padstow is highly recommended for those seeking the fine Cornish cuisine. This lovely coastal town offers an endearing sense of community and, thanks to the involvement of Rick Stein, several fantastic eateries.

For a unique occasion why not take in a play at the Minack Theatre, one of the world's most spectacular open-air venues perched on the cliff side facing the sea. Similarly, St Ives celebrates a rich and varied artistic heritage through its Tate Gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden and much more.

With Cornwall's temperate climate its beaches are perhaps one of the biggest attractions; a spectacular coastline extends for mile after mile and whether you want to surf, swim, stroll or just relax, you won't be short of fantastic activities and great seaside locations.

With an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that covers 12 separate geographical areas, walking in Cornwall is a delight. Enjoy the beautiful moorland and towering tors of Bodmin Moor, take a cycle ride down the Camel Trail or gaze out from Rame Head; there's a wealth of wonderful choices.

Alternatively you may prefer to relax and enjoy the comfort offered by a holiday cottage in Cornwall. So start a search for your dream holiday home right now.

Some villas suitable for disabled people
Sauna in all properties, plus Jacuzzi or spa bath in some properties
Free all-weather tennis court and coarse fishing all year
11 miles from sandy beaches of South Cornwall Coast
Bar and restaurant on adjacent Rosecraddoc Holiday Village

It has often been said that Rosecraddoc Manor must be the nearest thing to paradise. The manor properties stand in 38 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, set around a lovely lake, stocked with carp, roach and bream. Rosecraddoc Manor features a variety of properties surrounding the historic Manor House to cater for all tastes whether classic, modern, cosy or cottage style is what you are looking for. The manor was built in the 1820s on the site of a much older house mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is Grade II listed, along with two bridges in the grounds, and has now been converted into these attractive apartments and villas, making a perfect base for your Cornish holiday.
On site you can fish in the lake (bring own fishing licence, barbless hooks and landing nets must be used, please) or play tennis on the all weather court (smooth soled tennis shoes to be worn, not squash shoes; please bring your own racquets and tennis balls). If you can bear to leave this beautiful spot, just 2½ miles away in Liskeard there is a superb leisure complex, where you can enjoy squash, badminton, gym, indoor bowls and indoor leisure pools, which include a children’s pool and flume, as well as the main pool.
Within 4 miles you can explore Bodmin Moor, where you can go riding, walking or even try water sports on Siblyback Lake - wind surfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing are available. To the south, lovely sandy beaches and pretty fishing harbours lie along the coast. Several excellent golf courses can also be found in the area; and the Eden Project is only 20 miles away.
The Manor and the Coach House have been tastefully and sympathetically restored to please the most discerning guest. Some of the villas are suitable for guests with disabilities (CV44 is designed for the convenience of visitors with disabilities, as well as able-bodied visitors). Access to the front door of the Manor is by 3 stone steps. Whichever you choose you will find it immaculately clean, with freshly laundered linen and tea towels. Please bring your own towels. Cot linen is not supplied. Cornwall is well known for its mild climate, but at Rosecraddoc Manor, even if it is cold outside, your accommodation will be warm and welcoming, and with your own sauna and Jacuzzi or spa bath (depending upon your accommodation) you can go home completely relaxed. There are several pubs locally, and a leisurely stroll to the foot of the drive and across the road leads to a licensed bar and restaurant. The Village Inn, serving a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, has an extensive menu including children’s meals. It also hosts a large TV screen, barbecues, patio area, pool room and children’s games, with live entertainment, quiz nights and karaoke held regularly during the high season. Ideal venue for all the family.

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. Bathroom with shower over Jacuzzi/spa bath and toilet. 1 double bedroom. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (four poster), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Cot. High chair. Dishwasher. Balcony. Sauna. Wheelchair access.

All properties (except B6859): NSH, electricity panel heaters and electricity by meter reading. Bed linen included. DVD. CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi (on site at the Village Inn bar and restaurant). Parking. Large grounds and furniture. Sauna. NB: Unfenced lake/river in grounds.
