Brigham village is noted in the Domesday Book and lies as a sleepy hamlet, yet just a few miles distant is the historical market town of Driffield. The magnificent Minster dominates the city, which is full of quaint shops, restaurants and pubs. Together with the Jorvik Viking Centre and The National Railway Museum, this historic city makes for an entertaining day out.
For lovers of the outdoors, there are numerous walks for all standards incuding gentle strolls along the banks of the canal, coastal walks or taking in the magnificent scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds.
