  12. The cottage was warm and cosy, could do with a new cooker, had problem lighting then we gave up. Loved the fire after a long day walk so cosy once we turned the fire on we were in for the evening. Parking not right out side the house but managed to park without having to go to the car park. Otherwise we cannot fault the cottage. Liked the cosy garden too. Did not see the caretaker/owner until we left and that was because I came back into the cottage after putting bags in the car. No problem with that has we did not have a problem with the cottage to see her had spoken on the phone to let us know where key etc was. Sept 2009.
  13. Well furnished. July 2009.
  14. Fantastic cottage furnished in a modern style to a high standard and located in beautiful countryside. There are some stunning views and lovely walks in the nearby Edale area at the foot of Kinder Scout. Beautifully furnished cottage - a great deal of thought has obviously gone into the decor. We couldn’t believe our luck! July 2009.
  15. We had a lovely weekend in the cottage. No internal pictures of the cottage on the website, so unsure what to expect. The furnishings and decor where however absolutely beautiful. Thank you. Jan 2009.
  16. The property was excellent inside. We did wonder as there were no internal photos on the website. The furnishings and decor were first class and so comfortable, we were really impressed it was much better than we ever could have imagined. Aug 2008.
  17. The accommodation was excellent. We did think that the cottage deserved a better grading. The weather could have been better but we can’t order that. The local bus service was excellent to travel to and from Manchester, Buxton and Bakewell. With use of our Senior Citizen Bus Pass we we were able to park the car for the few days that we were there and make use of the public transport. July 2008.
