Sited around a small courtyard dating back to the 18th century the properties provide a very good standard of holiday accommodation, equipped with modern appliances in a superb location on the edge of the National Park at the foot of the Snowdonia mountain range. A short 5-minute drive will take you to the A55 expressway that links the North Wales coastline to Anglesey and in the opposite direction Chester. Nearby attractions include Caernarfon Castle, Llanberis mountain steam train to the top of Mount Snowdon, Llandudno ski slope and the Great Orme. This really is a mecca for walkers and mountain bikers with the added bonus of a pub and restaurant within walking distance and local shop just 1 mile.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 1 galleried double (6ft) bedroom with sloping ceiling. Shower room with toilet.

Friday to Friday.

  3. This property is centrally located for visiting north Wales. The Sat Nav stopped a couple of hundred yards away at another property on the opposite side of the road. The lady there directed us to Y Beudy which has no signs up and the driveway is hidden off the main road. It’s a lovely little home from home, fully equipped with all you need. Local shop/pub is 5mins drive. The town of Bangor is approximately 15mins drive where there are plenty of places to eat and a nice riverside walk. June 2012.
  4. This cottage is a skilful and imaginative conversion of a former agricultural building and was a very comfortable base for our short break. The owners were most friendly and welcoming with unexpected "goodies" like wine and chocolate left for us in the fridge on our arrival. Oct 2011.
