Nestling in a peaceful valley in the Lincolnshire Wolds this converted, traditional stable block enjoys a quiet sheltered position. Located on a mixed working farm with an established equine centre and lake, these self catering holiday cottages make the ideal base from which to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Grange Farm is in the countryside stewardship scheme which aims to preserve the existing flora, fauna and landscape and is traversed by the Viking Way and the New Cole Way allowing both hikers and riders access to the local grid of footpaths and bridleways. The Lincolnshire coast and the resorts of Cleethorpes, Skegness and Mablethorpe are easily accessible as is Lincoln with its castle and medieval cathedral. Two beautiful conversions, ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors. Shop 2 miles, restaurant and pub 1 mile.

  1. The property is clean and well equipped with hard flooring throughout. The single beds in the upstairs room were a little soft, but fine for a short break. Our elderly rescue dog can be a bit unpredictable when she meets other dogs, but we had no problems here - the resident rescue spaniels are delightful! We were 3 generations staying for a nearby family funeral, so not a typical stay. The bath was quite deep for my 80 year old mother, but she was able to stand in it to shower. Would definitely consider staying again. Dec 2012.
  2. Lovely quiet location. Views across the valley. Plenty of horses and dogs for the kids to befriend. Nice walks and the pub round the corner has excellent food and very good value. Over all we loved our stay and will come back again. April 2012.
  3. Made very welcome on arrival. Would have to be an animal or dog lover, of which we are. Just remember it is a working farm. Had some lovely dog walks. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan 2012.
  4. This cottage made a wonderful family holiday. We received a very warm, friendly welcome. As the cottage is on a /equestrian centre this is a brilliant holiday for animal lovers. Our two children (aged 12 and 9)spent a lot of time playing with the numerous cats and dogs on the farm and also had the opportunity to feed two orphaned calves. Normally we struggle to get these children off their Nintendo’s but at the end of this holiday they both agreed that this was the best holiday they had ever had. The cottage was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The owners of the farm could not have been more friendly or helpful. There was plenty to do in Lincoln and Cleethorpes/ other seaside towns were also nearby. Highly recommended. Aug 2011.

  6. We have stayed for the third time on this farm and will revisit in September. There is so much to see and to do specially with smaller children. The farm and accommodation is suitable for little children. 7 dogs and ponies are running free, cows, a tame swan and ducks to feed... on our last visit 3 calves were born, the twin calves needed to be fed with milk... Cooking in the accommodation is no problem but the local pubs and take away are great as well. No problems parking, very secure - we often left our front door unlocked. March 2011.

  8. This property is excellent for dog owners as it is very remote and on an equestrian farm. There is not much to do nearby however and nearest shops were 3 miles away. Good walking holiday. May 2010.

  10. The property was better than we expected for the price we had paid. It was a lovely cottage that had a very homely feel to it. It was clean and tidy and the owner coulndn’t be more helpful. We had a fantastic weekend and would definitely think of going back. Jan 2010.
