  1. Farm house was perfect plenty of room, and we all loved the querkiness of it. Views fantastic. Would recommend it. Sept 2011.
  2. Interesting, quirky old property, lots of room to play hide-and-seek! Our party of 12 plus 3 dogs had a great time. Thanks to Denise for her help. March 2011.
  3. Just very pleasant. Nice clean warm bedrooms, snug and cosy lounge, dining room Kitchen. I deal for a 50 year old party with 14 friends for a weekend. Jan 2011.
  4. We needed a large property in a certain area with plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone and Wreay Farmhouse fitted the bill. Although it was not grand, it had everything that we could possibly have needed. The kitchen was small, but, well equipped and the dining table was perfect for 12 of us to eat together which is very unusual in a property. We had a great weekend and would definitely consider using it again in the future. Jan 2011.
  5. The farmhouse was very traditional, had lovely finishing touches and had everything you needed to feel comfortable for the weekend. Dec 2010.
  6. Ideal for larger parties - what was particularly useful was that there were separate areas of bedrooms so we could split into family units. The spare bed and bath ideal for toddlers. The separate snug, cosy sitting room was also of benefit so the teenagers could all sit together and adults likewise. Dining area (plus table) a great size to accommodate all. Loved the decor and ornaments!!!! Very characterful. Nov 2010.
  7. Intersting, differnet, good fun. Sep 2010.
  8. The size was good, the kitchen equipment good. Aug 2010.
  9. Lovely location, character property with enough space to accommodate the number in our party. The property was kitted out to provide enough for everyone from cooking utensils, fridges, crockery, etc. July 2010.
  10. The property was quirky, cosy and suited our needs, comfortable. April 2010.
  11. Good accommodation, all utilities supplied plenty of plates, cups etc for the gang who attended, great dining area where we could all eat together and not in sittings. Dec 2009.
  12. Lovely view over Ullswater. Nice to have piano which was in tune. Lounge is too small for our party of 15 to be together. Oct 2009.
  13. Location, views of Ullswater from terrace, idiosyncratic character of the farmhouse, good piano and classical CDs everywhere. Oct 2009.
  14. An ideal property for a large group - families or friends. It was a well equipped property with thoughtful touches throughout. The ’quirky’ nature of the property made it a delight to explore. Oct 2009.
  15. Functional & easy to live in with minimum of hassle; everything in place, equipment easy to find & use, very comfortable. Sept 2009.
  16. A very unique property with lots of character - really relaxing and warm, the owners had put together lots of helpful info and obviously enjoy sharing their property. Excellent cleanliness and maintenance. March 2009.
  17. This property is in an ideal location and is very well set up for family groups to get together . It would also suit walking groups as a good base for a walking holiday. The views were stunning and the facilities well thought out. There were so many books ,cd, and dvds and games it would be impossible to run out of things to do in bad weather. In good weather the patio area was a great place to be. July 2009.
  18. Idyllic location & quirky interior- far enough into the fells to feel remote; near enough to civilisation to be accessible. The Farmhouse is perfect for a large group with numerous public rooms- dining room, lounge, snug etc. The guys and I will definitely return. Jan 2009.
  19. This property is the most interesting and homely of the many excellent "larger" properties that we have stayed in over the many years our group has used your company. Nooks and crannies everywhere, combined with spacious accommodation and fascinating artifacts, books, videos and CDs. The views over Ullswater are stunning. Feb 2008.
