Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. We had a very enjoyable break, the property was realy cosy and comfortable and was extremely well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Feb 2012.
  2. Had a wonderful time - only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer to make more of it. Oct 2011.
  3. This property was equipped to the highest standard (except we couldn’t find a hairdryer) and the accommodation was perfect for our family group - 6 adults, two children and a baby. Double ensuite bedroom for grandparents, two twin rooms plus family bathroom for family group of two parents and two young children, and the double room and shower room off the entrance hall suited the couple with a 7 week old baby who were having to get up through the night to use the kitchen. The double doors between the hall and the dining room meant that when the rest of us got up in the morning the baby’s parents were not disturbed. The location was great for many attractions, places of interest and beaches. Great walking out of the door. Aug 2011.
  4. Superb location, lovely cottage. Fab time had by all. Weather was kind-ish too. Aug 2011.
  5. This property was attractive, spacious and spotlessly clean. It was quiet and comfortable and extremely well equipped. The owner was helpful and friendly. It’s ideal for walkers with a variety of walks from the door, including the coastal path. Perfect for an extended family holiday; the children were happy at the beach and the walkers exhausted themselves. July 2011.
  6. We spent the Royal Wedding weekend at Woodmans Cottage - a rare and special opportunity to spend time with our three children and their partners, (usually located in Devon, London and Manila) all together under one roof - and what a very pleasant roof! The cottage is spacious, spotless and extremely well equipped - enabling our four ’Come Dine With Me’ evenings to go ahead without a hitch! We would recommend Woodmans Cottage without hesitation for all age groups. April 2011.
  7. We had a fantastic time at the cottage in Puncknowle. We had a family gathering of 15 of us from all over the world and stayed n two cottages on the site, Woodmans and Carters cottages. The ages ranged from 9 to 79yrs and i can honestly say it was enjoyed by us all. I would certainly recommend the cottages to anyone. The owners were helpful but not intrusive and the cottages lacked for nothing in regards to facilities and equipment. April 2011.
  8. Fully equipped with everything - 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms good for mixed groups. Dec 2010.
  9. Comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, helpful owner on site. Oct 2010.
  10. The cottage was spacious clean and tidy. Plenty of seating and the kitchen was excellently equipped. A lovely location for a really peaceful holiday with a local pub a short distance serving fresh food every night. Would recommend this property. Sep 2010.
  11. Excellent location and beautiful surroundings of the cottage and local area. The cottage was much bigger in reality and the website does not do it justice, it was fantastic and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. April 2010.
  12. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and very clean. Every effort had been made to provide all kitchen equipment you could wish to use and it was all in very good and clean condition. The fire had been lit for our arrival - it was very welcoming. A definite 5* cottage. March 2010.
  13. Very spacious and well equipped. Feb 2010.
  14. Well-appointed and equipped. Room sizes were larger than appeared on the website photos. Looked good on website, but didn’t really do it justice. 8 adults stayed there and it catered well for this group (ie. 8 comfy chairs in the lounge, room to all sit comfortably at the dining room table for a meal etc. Dec 2009.
  15. The property was lovely! We met the owner who was very helpful and the house was clean and warm and very welcoming! Nov 2009.
  16. Great layout with very good facilities for our group. Oct 2009.
  17. We had a great time, cottage was very comfortable, and every thinkable piece of equipment and furniture was in the cottage. June 2009.
  18. Accommodation was fitted to a very high standard. Very comfortable and convenient. Lovely setting and location in pretty village. Owners helpful and available when needed. April 2009.
  19. The standard of furnishings and equipment provided is excellent, especially in the kitchen. First class all round. The sort of place you would like to spend Christmas in. Aug 2009.
  20. Fantastic accommodation that was much bigger than we anticipated. More than enough space for 6 adults and 2 children. May 2009.
