  1. A wonderful and peaceful spot. We could not have asked for more. Loved the visiting badger. We would recommend this cottage to anyone and will hope to go back for another holiday there. Lots to do in the area too. Oct 2012.
  2. The Woodlands Chalet style cottage... Nestles right in the hillside of the dale. Under a canopy of trees. With the Beck (river) passing by outside, it really is the nearest you can get to ’Snow Whites Cottage’. The Wildlife is abundant.. And you cannot fail to relax there!! Plus ’Brock The Badger’ comes by, quite often in the evening for his nuts!!! A real Gem.. And if there are any problems, John or Julia weeks are onsite to assist... Sept 2012.

  7. The cottage is in a superb place and is very well maintained. Don’t come if you are not prepared for absolute quiet. The only sounds around are from animals. Shops are a couple of miles away, but the Spa supermarket (a little one) in Sleights opens all hours and sells plenty of copies of The Guardian! Oct 2011.
