Property Description

These three single-storey barn conversions enjoy a courtyard setting in a countryside location. Just a short drive from Wimborne (with shops, cafés and weekly antiques market) and the New Forest with its abundance of wildlife. Within easy reach are Poole Harbour with its excellent sailing, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the stunning beaches of Studland on the Isle of Purbeck. The Georgian town of Blandford and the unspoilt Cranborne Chase are nearby. Superb walks and pubs abound. The holiday cottages were supported by a grant from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and are furnished to a high standard and well-equipped, with independent wheelchair access and facilities for wheelchair users. Shop ¼ mile.

  5. A lovely, airy, well equipped and thoughtfully designed property, and just far enough off the beaten track to be quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was there and worked like a dream - we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was within easy reach of Wimborne and many other places of interest, especially Kingston Lacy, making it an excellent base for exploring the many interesting churches and historic and literary landmarks of Dorset. The location was off the main road so very quiet, but within walking distance of the Stocks pub, which had a good menu very reasonably priced and a local general store virtually opposite. Although we did not require the facility, everything in the accommodation had been thoughtfully provided for disability purposes. June 2011.

  9. Wonderful cottage in a great location.We had such an enjoyable few days. Being in a wheelchair the cottage was excellent for my every need.We enjoyed it so much i am just about to book again for next year!! May 2011.
