1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Ideally located just two minutes’ walk from the main square, this delightful property, originally two workers’ cottages, makes a wonderful base for exploring this lovely area. At some 800 feet above sea level, Stow-on-the-Wold is the highest town in the Cotswolds and attracts many visitors to its shops, inns, narrow streets and large market square. Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford are easily accessible as well as Bath and Gloucester. The National Trust is well represented and there are some important and very beautiful gardens to visit in the immediate vicinity. Shops 150 yards.

Five steps to entrance. Living room with wood-burning stove and rugs on wooden floor. Beamed modern fitted farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room with wooden floor. Steep, narrow stairs to first floor: Two bedrooms each with beamed and sloping ceiling; one double with built-in wardrobe and one single with pull-out bed (for +1). Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

  1. We had a wonderful week away in Woodbine Cottage. A very comfortable and cosy place that is peaceful and well equipped. It has everything you would need for a week away from home. There are a number of personal touches (tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, cake, toilet roll, and logs for the wood burner) which make it even more comfortable. Loved the bathroom – very cute, and on a slope which shows the age of the building. Lovely and clean but there were a few cobwebs in the corners of the bedroom. Nothing major, but no real reason for them to be there. Great location in Stow. Only a 2 minute walk to the market square with lots of shops, pubs, and tea rooms. Something to bear in mind: the road to the cottage is single track and there is no real turning circle – It can take anywhere between a 5 and 9 point turn for a big car (Mondeo estate) if you want to reverse into the driveway. Nov 2011.

  3. The cottage was larger than expected, excellent location minutes away from amenities. Kitchen large and roomy. Although stairs are steep and the ceilings low, the bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable. July 2009.

  6. This is a lovely cottage and really close to Stow. Watch out for those low door frames though! We highly recommend this cottage and the personal touch including biscuits on arrival was lovely. Oct 2008.
