1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Situated in the High Peak on the border of The Peak District National Park, this stylish semi-detached holiday property offers modern and traditional living. Ideally located for adventurous outdoor pursuits both the Dark Peaks and the White Peaks are within easy reach. For the more sedate it is just a short walk of ½ mile to the famous Buxworth Basin, or take a stroll along the tow path of the canal to the village of Whaley Bridge, about 1 mile. A keen walker may want to walk to Edale and catch the train back to Chinley station only 2 miles away or perhaps take the train to Manchester and take in a museum, show, art gallery or just shop. Chatsworth House, the spa town of Buxton and Castleton caves are all within easy reach and make great days out. Shops 1 mile, restaurant 2 miles and pubs ½ mile.

  1. Wood cottage is a beautiful cottage, in a ideal location if planning to visit the Dark and White Peak. It’s huge, accommodate easily 8 adults. Plenty of space. Lovely furnished and clean. At the arrival we found newly bought milk, butter, bread and orange juice. Salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee are also there. A very useful booklet with tips of local pub, supermarket (Tesco extra at 5 minutes by car), and informations for the house (where to find things, how to connect to the wi-fi and so on). A great holiday. One advise, follow indications given and NOT SATNAV! June 2012.
  2. Large spacious house, handy for local walks. Local pubs within walking distance, bus passes close by which is also handy for long walks. March 2012.
  3. The utility room & office could do with hooks/facility to hang wet walking gear as it is in prime hill walking country. The welcome book was very informative and useful. The welcome pack (loo rolls, butter etc) was excellent although, as somebody else mentioned in the visitor book, this could maybe be mentioned in the property description or upon booking, to save doubling up on supplies. The fuel supply was excellent/ample. Dec 2011.
  4. Very comfortable and spacious in a convenient location for the Peak District. My family and I enjoyed our stay in the cottage. To make the cottage even better we would recommend providing a tea pot and the provision of a large fridge/freezer, a shower in the en-suite bathroom, and a back door mat. Oct 2011.
  5. A spacious, well-equipped cottage, with fantastic views. The location was great, close to the peak district and local canal for walks, Chatsworth and Lyme Park for sightseeing. Good pubs for eating and drinking. Aug 2011.
