Situated in the quiet village of Shillingford St George and surrounded by beautiful countryside, Willowmead is ideally situated to explore Dartmoor, the South Devon coast and countless other attractions and places of interest. Adjoining the owner’s home, the property is very spacious and perfectly located to enjoy the best of Devon. The holiday property is just 20 minutes from the coast and moors. Shops 1½ miles, pub 2½ miles.

  3. Lovely quiet location but not far from supermarkets and various village pubs and easy to get to nearby Exeter, Dartmoor and the coast. Excellent farm shop and cafe nearby too. Above standard tastefully fitted accommodation, especially for the money. Perfectly sized lounge/dining room and although kitchen is small it has everything you need. Bedroom has all you would expect with very comfortable bed and plenty of storage for clothes but additional tv and chairs were a real bonus. The bathroom is pure luxury. Everything has been thought of to make this an excellent place to stay. March 2012.

  5. Very comfortable and well supplied accommodation. The rooms are large and cosy, except that the kitchen can only be occupied by one person. The owners are friendly and helpful. Oct 2011.
  6. Warm, comfortable, spacious accommodation, but small kitchen, which while well equipped does not have a lot of room to construct meals. Good excuse to eat out but you need to be prepared to travel down extremely narrow, single track roads. Practise your reversing! We had a very pleasant long weekend and would happily use the cottage again. Oct 2011.

  8. Very modern property with many facilities, including a jacuzzi bath. Owners dog was lovely but we’d suggest they take it elsewhere to do his business rather than outside the bedroom window. Bedroom was enormous and very well presented as was the rest of the property. This property is also joined to the owners dwelling although we didn’t hear too much in the way of noise. July 2011.
  9. Welcomed by a lovely cream tea, we settled in quickly to this well designed and thoughtfully equipped property, tucked away in a country lane yet surprisingly close to ’civilisation’ and pubs with good food. We had an enjoyable, relaxing stay at Willowmead. June 2011.

  11. An excellently designed and well fitted-out modern cottage with everything that you will need for a relaxing and comfortable short break. The bathroom and bedroom are of an especially high standard. The owners (to whose property the cottage is attached) are friendly and welcoming, ready to help out with local info etc. The surroundings are leafy and quiet, yet a large supermarket is only 10-15 mins drive away, and the east side Dartmoor around 20 mins. The beautiful beaches of south Devon can be reached in 45 mins. All in all a lovely cottage in a great spot. * The Nobody Inn in nearby Doddiscombsleigh is a must visit. April 2011.
  12. Really enjoyed this spacious and beautiful property. It was ideally located a short distance from the motorway and yet you would never know it from the countryfied seclusion all around.   17. This is a beautiful, spacious property which has been extremely well furnished. The kitchen is very small (although everything one needs is included), however this is balanced by a very large bathroom (with spa bath), bedroom and sitting/dining area. It is excellent, homely, accommodation for guests who do not intend to do much cooking while on holiday. Aug 2010.

  19. The whole property was wonderful, the owners delightful, their children lovely - could not have been bettered and presented a haven for ourselves and our daytime visitors. The welcome with a Devonshire tea awating us was a delightful gesture after a long drive. April 2010.
