A charming period thatched cottage originally dating back from the 16th century in the centre of the village. The property has been tastefully renovated and offers cosy holiday accommodation with a wealth of exposed beams, a large open fireplace and a gas fired Rayburn for cooking and central heating. 1 mile from Hidcote Gardens and yards from the heart of the England way. Chipping Campden, 3 miles, Stratford upon Avon, 7 miles. Ideally situated for touring the Cotswolds with many fine walks locally. Shop 50 yards, pubs 400 yards.

Ground floor: Living room with beams. Dining room/kitchen with tiled floor. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 twin, all with sloping ceilings. Bathroom with toilet.

Open fire in living room (no fuel provided). Gas central heating, electricity, linen and towels included. Stereo/CD. Rayburn. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Small garden with patio and furniture. Parking (1 car).

  3. The pictures didnt do the property any justice, it was 2 double rooms and a single rather then a double, twin and a single. The cottage had everything we needed and was very cosy. The local pub was so friendly and provided us with a great mood for the weekend. The walks are great too. There are books in the cottages that provides short walks. We used a 1987 ramblers book for the cottage to do an 11 mile walk and it was still accurate... more or less! Beautiful cottage and a beautiful weekend. Feb 2012.
  4. Delightful and well kept holiday cottage in a perfect location. Ideal for walks, access to places like Stratford-upon-Avon etc. And our boys thoroughly enjoyed the open fire too! Jan 2012.
  5. The lovely thing about Willann is that there were little things like, salt, pepper, oil and washing up cloths etc that are often not in self catering places. Also a selection of books and dvds, the personal touch. The bath was lovely and deep. Excellent cottage will definitely be going again. Jan 2012.
  6. Willann is a beautiful cottage within a short walking distance of a great traditional country pub and a fine local butchers. It is in a prime location in the Cotswolds. Dec 2011.
  7. Property is next to main road but noise is not too bothersome. Convenience store just down the road which was useful. Ideal location for exploring the cotswolds. Note there is two double rooms even though the pictures suggest that there is one twin. June 2011.

  13. We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful cottage celebrating an 85 year old’s birthday and met up for one day with other members of the family who also thought the cottage was charming. Although the photos looked good on the website, they didn’t really do the cottage justice. It was in a great position for visiting Stratford-On-Avon (7 miles) and for the Cotwolds and we have a great time. We hope one day to have another mini holiday in Willan. April 2007.
