Set on the edge of Fethard-on-Sea village, on the scenic Hook Peninsula, in an area recognised as the sunniest in Ireland, with a wealth of sandy beaches and coves. Ideal for walkers and bird watchers, with activities including sailing, fishing, golf, scuba diving and riding. Places of historical interest include Duncannon Fort, Tintern Abbey and Hook Lighthouse. Shop ¾ mile.

All on ground floor: 2 steps down to living/dining room with French doors. Kitchen with tiled floor. Utility room. 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Open fire in living room (initial fuel included). Gas underfloor heating (€30per week March to May and October). Electricity by meter reading. Bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. DVD. CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed garden with decking, hammock and furniture. Barbecue. Ample parking. No smoking please. NB: Steps to the entrance and split level interior, beach and fenced cliff, 30 yards.

  1. Absolutely beautiful. By far the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. Rained 5 days out of 7 but even then, the views were amazing. Perfect location for touring and a visit to Saltee Islands to see the seals and puffin birds is a must. The local people are really friendly and the village store is well stocked. June 2012.

  8. The cottage has a stunning setting looking straight out to sea, and being only 4 years old (in 2010) it is immaculate inside. The best presented cottage we have had. April 2010.
  9. The views from this house were amazing. I like the fact that there were no neighbours close by-ideal for children with regards to noise! Although they would have to be watched as the house is 30 yards from a cliff edge. The house has plenty of room, very clean.   14. We had a Fab time, the fact that we were right beside the beach was brilliant as the children went there every day. The accommodation was so relaxing. We went for a week, I feel as though we were away for a month, that is how relaxing it was. We will definitely be back. May 2008.
