The pretty enclosed garden area has a good-sized patio where guests can enjoy a drink whilst admiring the surroundings and there are plenty of walks from the holiday cottage. The stunning coastline between Minehead and Combe Martin is nearby, with its beaches and quiet coves. Shops 4 miles, pub 2 miles.

  1. Very well equipped and beautiful surroundings. This is a very hilly location so be ready to walk and explore these beautiful surroundings. If you want idyllic isolation this is the place for you. May 2012.

  3. A well-equipped spacious cottage in a stunning location. Very peaceful, but very rural - the road in which the house is located is a long narrow twisting country lane, so it would probably be quite ’exciting’ staying there in the depths of winter! May 2012.
  4. Well Cottage was a wonderful retreat from our normal lives of rushing around. We loved the peace and tranquility and waking up to the beautiful views. We planned to do quite a lot of cycling but the cottage was located in a very hilly area and we are only amateurs so we did not do as much as we hoped. We did some lovely walks in the area though and enjoyed exploring Exmoor. April 2012.
  5. Wonderful, comfortable cottage, great views, good weather allowed BBQ and meals outside. Well equipped down to food weighing scales, utensils pots and pans. Do use visitors guides - train journeys, HoneyBee Farm - educational and a good place for little ones to run off some steam. Exceptional road to cottage through woods. July 2011.

Exceptionally well equipped - liquid soap at every sink and basin; loo paper (and spare rolls) at every loo; basic cleaning materials available; kitchen very well equipped with cooking utensils/pans/crockery/cutlery; heating programmed and on; and a welcoming vase of flowers in the lounge.   15. Immaculate cottage. Very quiet location which was what we wanted. Beautiful views & wildlife, and walks. Sorely to go attempted again.The only thing I can think of to improve the holiday would have been a hot tub in the garden!! July 2010.
  16. Spacious, immaculate, lovely views. Only issue is that access is via a narrow lane with occasional passing places. Property is new to your company, so not much info in guest book or on some appliances, eg TV, washing machine - but we managed OK. June 2010.
