With its beautiful garden and surroundings, standing detached, it is an ideal retreat for those who wish to relax and enjoy quiet seclusion, stunning walks in the Welsh Border countryside and friendly local pubs. Brampton Bryan has an ancient park which rises on to Harley’s Mountain and a salmon river just 5 minutes walk from the house. It is situated in a truly magical and unspoiled corner of England. Places nearby include Ludlow, Acton Scott working farm museum and Clun castle. Shop 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. 1 double bedroom. Utility. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 double bedrooms, one with additional single (for alternative sleeping). Bathroom with toilet.

  1. This property was great. Really unique and very comfortable. We don’t often consider booking the same cottage twice, but this one certainly changed our minds! April 2012.
  2. It was fantastic from the minute we walked through the gate. Immaculate, plenty of plates etc etc, there was plenty of soap and loo rolls and there was even baking ingredients etc! Beautiful garden, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, beautiful walks wherever we turned! We got no signal at all (on o2) until Knighton, but that was just a bonus!! Plenty to do if you like walking and fresh air! Our dogs came home completely happy and worn out! Harry Tuppinsin Knighton was the best place to go for shopping, they sell everything from eggs to coal and very reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back next year, was very sad to leave! March 2012.

  5. An beautiful cottage the photograpghs do not do it justice. The accommodation is very spacious with lots of character, beautiful gardens in a quiet quaint village. There was 6 adults and 2 children and enjoyed great new year break in this cottage. Dec 2011.

  7. The cottage was in a lovely peaceful location, excellent for walks, with quiet lanes and Brampton Park. The cottage itself was lovely and the garden was excellent. We are going again next year. Oct 2011.
  8. A quiet escape, just right to get away from it all. Very secure garden for dogs. Shops not to far away. Could be too quiet for some although we went late in the year. Lovely walks straight from the front door and a nice log fire to come back to. Oct 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
