Property Description

This beautifully renovated, detached Provençal villa enjoys spectacular views across to the Col-du-Dragon and the Chaine-de-Férion. Situated on a hillside, access is by a rough lane off a winding road, with steep driveway to the entrance. Benefiting from a private pool with security immersion alarm, it is set on a broad terrace with a lovely olive tree for shade; dine al-fresco admiring the spectacular views. There are some steep drops in the grounds, therefore care should be taken with small children. It is just 1km to the hilltop village of La Roquette-sur-Var and its 16th-century church with famous Italian paintings. The picturesque old villages of Levens and Saint-Martin-du-Var are both 5km for restaurants, shops, tennis and bike hire. Or walk to Saint-Martin-du-Var in 25 minutes. If you can tear yourself away from the beautiful scenery, there are beaches at Antibes, Aquasplash and Marineland at Biot, both 40km and skiing at Isola 2000, 70km.
