Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Could definitely sell it better! Absolutely fabulous property. Oct 2012.
  2. We feel this house is not advertised well enough by Welcome, the house and the history is fascinating and makes a really different holiday experience to live in, what feels like a castle. There are tennis courts, table tennis and crazy golf and all the equipment is provided. It really is such a lovely place and as for value for money, we were astonished that you could actually sleep 7 very comfortably (only one loo) for the price we paid. Couldnt recommend this house enough! Sept 2012.
  3. Our host Dominque and his sister were excellent and made our family feel very relaxed and at home. June 2012.
  4. The owner and his sister could not be more helpful and welcoming. The history and character of this property make your stay a unique experience. As one reviewer put you do no need oven gloves, dish cloths, tea towels etc. A lovely location and only a few miles from large supermarkets and petrol stations. A memorable visit! June 2012.
  5. Another fantastic holiday at this wonderful French farm, which is full of history and charm!! Would love to return, one day soon. July 2011.
  6. We loved our week at the farm, it is just what you imagine a french farm to be like. The children loved it!!! The tennis courts were great fun!! Please remember to take towels, teatowels and oven gloves as they are not provided. Domonique and his family made us feel very welcome. We would love to return one day. Aug 2010.
  7. The ownder and his sister made us feel very welcome all over the farm not just the property we stayed in. beautifull buildings with an amazing history. Aug 2010.
  8. Our tenth visit to this wonderful property, which says it all. July 2010.
  9. It was a unique restored manor house with lots of interesting detail which was well explained to guests in a file. Full of atmosphere, very hospitable owners, relaxing but with lots of activities to keep our girls happy such as tennis and helping milk the cows. Great beaches within 40 mins. July 2010.
  10. The building is truly historic, dating back to the 16th Century. With beamed ceilings, a huge fireplace and an oak spiral staircase in it’s own tower it is like living in a castle. Despite this it had a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine which made the holiday easy. The tennis court and table tennis in the barn kept the kids happy. Highly recommended! May 2010.
  11. Lots of activities for us to enjoy: tennis, mini golf, table tennis. Lots of information about the property and its history. Aug 2009.
  12. Great location for seeing Normandy. Really good value for a unique place to stay. Great property in terms of atmosphere and interior/tennis courts etc. Aug 2009.
  13. The setting and history of this property certainly had the wow factor it was like living in a museum but with modern day facilities. Aug 2009.
  14. Spacious, quiet and peaceful. July 2009.
  15. Independence at its best. May 2009.
  16. This was our 6th visit to the Ponterie. Our first in 1991. We hope to visit again soon. Sept 2008.
  17. Friendly owner. Use of tennis courts. Interseting historical accommodation. July 2008.
  18. We have been to this property 3 times before(in the mid 90’s) with our 3 children. This time we returned with our eldest daughter and son-in law. the property was exactly as we remembered and The Morelles as welcoming and kind as ever. May 2008.
  19. Beautiful accommodation, lovely settings, plenty of local information provided by the owners, they also made the holiday a treat, and we hope to rebook for next year. March 2007.
