  1. The property was very comfortable with lots of cooking equipment, crockery and glasses which was lovely rather than managing with 4 of everything. The owner lived on the floor above and was very freindly and welcoming. She was very careful not to bother us but helpful and friendly when needed, she spoke very good english.the property was within easy walking distance of the beach, we took bicycles which were great for exploring the town and local area. There is an excellent fish market in St Jean de Luz and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. JUly 2011.
  2. This property has stunning outside space: the brochure really doesn’t do it justice. It is handy for the beach and shops. The owner lives upstairs but is charming and helpful and will never impede on your privacy. June 2011.
  3. Out-door sitting areas very attractive; several options & plenty of seats. Indoor sitting areas more limited. Kitchen very well equipped. Bedrooms - plenty of storage; dramatic decoration. Sept 2010.

  5. Completely wacky decor - not for the faint hearted of you! But if you are looking for something different to home, and have a non-judgmental artistic outlook on life then this IS the place for you! And don’t be put off by the fact that the owner lives above - we have never met a more discreet person! Aug 2009.
