1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Peacefully located in a charming village, this functional detached villa is peacefully located and provides an excellent touring base. Saint Laurent-des-Arbres is a picturesque village which, in the past, belonged to the Bishops of Avignon, with shops and restaurants, it also preserves some interesting medieval ruins dating back to the 12th century. Excursions possible include the sun drenched towns of Avignon, which stretches in all its beauty along the banks of the River Rhône, and Nîmes, a great city of the arts, very proud of its prestigious Gallo-Roman past. Wander around the stunning Saturday market in Uzès, or take a trip into one of the most romantic regions of France, La Camarge Regional Nature Park and continue on along the endless miles of golden sandy beaches. An added bonus is the neighbouring village of Tavel which produces France’s best rosé wine.

  1. The property was private, but well situated for the local village and for access to the surrounding areas through the excellent road networks. A local caretaker dealt efficiently with any problems that arose during our stay. The cottage was well equipped for babies and young children. Oct 2011.
  2. Very cool and shady home, ideal for hot summer. Garden lovely, but needed cutting back. Al the bushes getting out of hand! Pool was cloudy so didn’t swim for three days. This problem was never fully resolved. But potentially it was a very lovely pool. House furniture all rather dated too, but fine. Very spacious main room. Very cool at night thanks to great mosquieto nets on all windows, and good overhangs and shutters. Great local village with a short walk to baker, and nice local restaurant at end of street. Also near large Casino supermarket at end of road a real bonus. Good local walks with great views over to Mt Ventoux. Lovely conutry to hte west for off raod bikes. Very near motorway junction so visits ot Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard so easy. Lots to do, ideal base. All the delights of Avignon so close too. Aug 2011.
