These semi-detached (W13001, W13002, W11725), detached (W13003) and terraced (W11703, W13135, W13136) holiday cottages have been renovated to a good standard on a 16th-century fortified farm.

The properties are located in the countryside which is a great place to relax, and they have the benefit of a shared, covered, heated swimming pool open all year round.

It is a good central location to visit the old town of Provins, only 20km away, with its medieval festival during the summer, fortified walls, timbered houses and underground galleries. Disneyland resort and park is only 30km and the famous castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte is 40km. The capital of Champagne, Epernay is 80km away, as is the centre of Paris with its many attractions including monuments, museums, beautiful shops and the Eiffel Tower.

Shop and café/bar 3km, restaurant 15km.

Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, separate toilet and basin. First floor: Bathroom with 2 basins, separate toilet, 4 bedrooms: 2 kingsize, both with en-suite shower and basin, 2 twin.

Electric heating, initial 8kwh of all fuel and power included in rent, remainder by meter reading at end of stay, incoming telephone, colour TV, video, wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared courtyard, patio, outdoor furniture, barbecue, ample off road parking. Sorry, no pets. NB: Fenced water nearby.

  1. This accommodation is a little piece of heaven, it’s our second time to visit the same gite and we can’t wait to return! It’s perfect for Disneyland, especially popular with children, Provins for sightseeing, Paris is an hour by train from nearby coulommiers, there’s the great war museum in Meaux, just 45 mins drive. But best of all is the pool which is fantastically perfect for all weather. April 2012.
  2. Great value for money. The farm house was big, clean and pretty. Indoor pool was very well maintained. I would recommend you take simple groceries to get you going as it was quite a way from a big supermarket. Would definitely go again. April 2012.
  3. We have been to Ferme de Pres seven times and always enjoy our holidays and intend to re-visit soon. The properties are perfect for families and the pool is an added bonus. We have four children ranging from twenty to five and the holiday is suited to all the ages. It is a perfect location for visiting Disneyland Paris as well as Paris itself. Dec 2011.

  10. Excellent well presented property, even larger than it looks in the photos. Well maintained with rustic features added a lot of character to the property. Free access to the indoor pool within 40m of the accommodation, made the early evenings very relaxing and a good way to wind down after a day of sightseeing. Cannot recommend enough. May 2010.

  15. Although the property itself was remote, it was a convenient distance from Provins, Paris and Disneyland by car. There were plenty of things to do for the family and the shared pool was clean and well maintained. If you want to experience the French life and also do the tourist thing then this is an ideal property location.. The property was well maintained and had everything you would need for a relaxing family holiday. The owner was helpful and had an on site cleaner available for immediate problems that occurred.   16. This is a very spacious, quiet and relaxed accommodation. It was bigger then we could imagine. Even the bedrooms were twice as big as a normal bedrooms and 2 of them even had a shower and washing table in it. The swimming pool was great, but the water could be a bit warmer. May 2009

The drive to Disneyland is straightforward and quick, the local towns are very pleasant - it is a fantastic holiday location. April 2009.
