Adjoining other properties, they have been renovated to a high standard and each has a private garden. Quiet and rural, the farm contains horses and natural birdlife, as well as superb country walks that can go as far as the beautiful heritage coast. Snape Maltings with its famous concert hall and wide range of shops and galleries is only 4 minutes’ drive, and the popular picturesque town of Orford, famous for its smoke house and harbour, is only 2½ miles. Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Dunwich and Southwold are all within easy driving distance. Shop and pub 2½ miles.

Open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove in brick fireplace, wooden floor and farmhouse-style kitchen with ceramic floor and door to grounds. Double bedroom with 6ft bed. Twin bedroom with zip & link beds (can be double on request). Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Beamed throughout.

  1. Perfect for accessing Orford and Aldburgh and also enjoying the lovely countryside around the property. We managed horse riding, eating award winning fish and chips on the beach at Aldburgh. Delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast at the lovely tea shop in Orford and a fabulous evening meal at Ruth Watsons’ (Country House Rescue) hotel in Orford - and this is over 2 days! May 2012.

  12. Location on Stud Farm was good with plenty of animals to amuse us and our 1 year old son. Owner was very helpful and informative. The accommodation was fine for a couple plus one child but would have been cramped for more adults or children. July 2009.

  18. Thank you for an idyllic break that was much needed! We booked our holiday really easily and quickly at the last minute without any problems and loved our time on this beautiful farm surrounded by beautiful horses, gorgeous pot bellied pigs and softest German Shepherd dogs I’ve ever met! Relaxing evenings in front of the wood burning stove were a real treat after days spent playing hide and seek in castles and chasing waves on the beach with our little ones. A wonderful family holiday. And by the way, you can’t really tell from the pictures that there is actually a really lovely, and very safe, enclosed garden at the back of your cottage that overlooks a paddock of pigs and horses. March 2008.
  19. Valley Farm was absolutely what a country cottage holiday should be all about. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome & special & the well appointed cottage was set in perfect countryside, with many places of interest to visit on the door step. July 2006.
