  2. This is a lovely property and Mr & Mrs Talbott were exceptionally nice and very helpful. The property was spotlessly clean and the facilities provided were excellent. Also the views from the property were fantastic. Thank you very much. Dec 2011.
  3. Very helpful and accommodating owners. Magnificant views from all windows over the Severn Valley and river. Nice to be able to see the beautiful autumn colours in the Forest of Dean, with plenty of walks available. Half hourly bus service to Gloucester from bus stop (1/2 mile). An excellent area for a quiet relaxing break. Oct 2011.

  6. The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in, and a very comprehensive welcome pack was provided. The view is amazing. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and the owners were very helpful without being intrusive. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, and there were plenty of games, puzzles etc. for rainy days, also lots of information was provided about the surrounding areas which was very helpful. There is a garage, but difficult to get into and some off road parking which was equally difficult, however, there is plenty of room on the nearby road. it was a great holiday. June 2011.
  7. Very well equipped property, with supply of household cleaners, shampoo and hand wash as well as towels and tea-towels. Owners made us very welcome. Garage available down narrow lane - not easy to manoevre a large vehicle but also has more accessible off road parking space. Steep stairs but stair guards available. The view is fantastic! Excellent location to explore the forest of dean. April 2011.
  8. Very comfortable and well equipped with great views. Feb 2011.

  18. This cottage was absolutely fantastic. The owners live beside the property and were fantastic! They had provided a bottle of wine, fresh bread & milk on biscuits for us on arrival. They really couldn’t do enough to help us. The cottage was spotless and so well looked after, the owners are very proud of it, it really shows. There was a little table and chairs outside in a garden area overlooking the gorgeous views & the owners even made sure we had comfy cushions to sit on! The cottage has a double bed in 1 bedroom & 2 single beds in another room. The owners have so much information on local activities etc in a little folder in the house & all the safety regs are met, eg fire extinguishers, smoke alarms etc. The location was beautiful & had lots of nice walks and bike rides nearby. There was a pub a few yards away but this didn’t serve food so we ordered in a take away which was lovely, or you could walk around 3/4 mile to local pubs also. Would 100% recommend. April 2010.

  20. The accommodation was superb, very clean and had everything we needed from tourist information to every kitchen utensil. The owners were lovely and told us about areas we would not have found without their local knowledge. Feb 2010.
