Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Cottage in a lovely location next to the river Tanat, very peaceful and tranquil. Plenty space for a week away and all the necessary facilities for a family away from home. Dec 2012.
  2. Although the weather was wet we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in this exceptional cottage. The location is beautiful and the design of Ty Rhyd makes the best of it, with south-facing well designed seating above the river and stunning views from most rooms. It was a joy to go to bed and lie in comfort, listening to the sound of the river at night. Despite the weather we walked, cycled and kayaked - and spent a day cooking in the well-equipped kitchen! June 2012.
  3. Great family get away. April 2012.
  4. This barn conversion is perfectly designed for holiday use. Everything in it is practical, and of good quality. Dec 2011.
  5. Lovely property and location nice too. Some lovely scenery at the property and nearby. Also some lovely waterfalls in short drives from the property. Sept 2011.
  6. Lovely cottage in outstanding peaceful location. Hosts very helpful and welcoming, showing us internet connection to the lap top and leaving cakes, wine, milk and eggs which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend everything about it. Sept 2011.
  7. Immaculate and well-equipped property in the lovely Tanat valley. Aug 2011.
  8. A beautiful cottage in an interesting part of North Wales. Very nicely done out inside - possibly the best I have ever seen - open plan and lots of beams and space. Very friendly owners in the farm next door - helpful but not intrusive. It is quite a way from the highlights of Snowdonia, but there are some interesting places nearby. Highly recommended. Aug 2011.
  9. Everything was catered for by our hosts! Even had freshly baked bread & biscuits on arrival and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Best property that we have stayed in on holiday. July 2011.
  10. Lovely cottage in wonderful, peaceful location. Many nice features including lovely welcome pack. Mainly very clean & well kept - except the oven which needed a complete overhall. The suite is in need of replacing now too. April 2011.
  11. Ty Rhyd (house of the ford) sits in a magnificent location, next to stream in a quiet corner of North West Wales. The house is ample, cosy and contains all the necesary appliances one may need. It was easy to cook or BBQ, watch tv, sit on the sofa or carpets, play board games, etc. Internet conenction was fast, though a wireless router would have been more useful than a single cable line. The farm in which Ty Rhyd sits is also lovely and offers many opportunities for walks. May 2011.
  12. Excellent quality furnishings, outstanding location extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Aug 2010.
  13. All facilities and furnishings were of a high quality and finish and the owners were avaliable and very hospitable. July 2010.
  14. A superb cottage, the photos on the website do not do it justice.we had a great holiday and the owners could not have been more helpful. July 2010.
  15. Spacious, clean and well situated. April 2010.
  16. The property was in a beautiful location with an pretty stream runing along side. The cottage was built with attractive oak timber. The owners were very friendly and had left wine, tea, coffee, eggs and delicious flapjacks to welcome us. All in all brilliant!! Thanks. April 2010.
  17. The accommodation looked exactly like the photographs, and matched the description so there were no surprises, which is reassuring. The cottage was very well stocked, everything was good quality, the beds were excellent and the shower, heating, hot water etc were easy to use and accessible. For us the access to 100 acres of farmland plus the feeling of having our own private space around the cottage made the holiday wonderful. The river was great fun for everyone. The owners were very helpful. Oct 2009.
  18. Good range of facilities and provision of washing machine and dishwasher and freezer along with good provision of dishes and cooking stuff. DVD player and a limited amount of freeview satellite channels. July 2009.
  19. Quiet location. Situated in beautiful countryside. Large bedrooms. Good working shower. Good working underfloor heating. Beautiful restored barn conversion. Patio furniture could be better for this type of holiday cottage. Highly recommended a place to stay to explore or just relax and get away from things. June 2009.
