Property Description

This pair of delightful holiday cottages are tucked away, yet very centrally located in the bustling and popular market town of Keswick. Well presented and built in the mid 1990’s they offer very cosy, comfortable and tastefully furnished holiday accommodation. Enjoy excellent local atmosphere and amenities plus dramatic and spectacular scenery on the doorstep. This is a walkers paradise with good restaurants, pubs, theatre, cinema, leisure centre, golf, tennis, water sports, fishing, bowls and shopping all nearby. Shops and pubs 200 metres.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining area/kitchen. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Both properties: Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. DVD. Stereo/CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Small shared patio and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

  1. This cottage is ideally located in the centre of Keswick near to a wonderful childrens playpark and just a few minutes from pubs, restaurants and shops. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment to make cooking in as easy as eating out. The bedrooms are small but clean and fresh and the sitting room is ideal size for a family with all the DVDs and games the owners have done their upmost to make you feel welcome. Feb 2012.
  2. This property had been fitted with new carpets and beds just as we arived and was therefore very fresh! The dining-size kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation and provided a convivial atmosphere in which to enjoy each meals together. July 2011.
  3. Pleasant property in a central location, generally quiet (apart from pub closing times at weekends!). Cottage quite well equiped although washing up liquid & soap would have been nice! Spar shop very close & good. March 2011.

  10. The fact that it is located in a quiet area but literally less than five minutes from the central area. Also that the Spar is about 30 seconds away!! In terms of location for our purposes it could not be better. March 2010.

  13. Keswick is an ideal base for mountain and fell walking. The old railway track is perfect for the whole family to cycle and is about 3 miles long, each way. March 2009.
  14. Fantastic holiday, the accommodation was first class. Clean and functional. Plenty of extras for the children, videos, books toys. Note: we holidayed in Feb, the property backs onto a "beer garden" and I suspect that the noise in summer may be problematic in the rear bedroom. Feb 2008.
  15. The accommodation is excellently placed within easy walk of the centre of Keswick yet very quiet. May 2007.
  16. The cottage looked a little disappointing from the outside but when we stepped inside it more than made up for it. It was nicely furnished, clean and the information/games/CD’s provided were great. It was useful to have the SPAR shop so close and the bar behind was not too noisy, just a little in the morning. Most things we needed were provided and with such a good location it was good value for money! Aug 2006.

  19. Cottage extremely clean and welcoming. Fully equipped with household items ie dishcloths, teatowels, cleaning products etc even books and games available. A real home from home. April 2006.
  20. Parking not so good as next door where we have stayed previously. Only suitable for smaller cars because of proximity of cars to the right and posts. Feel this should be stated in the brochure. Sept 2006.
