Situated above the stunning Fowey River, close to the harbour and mouth of the estuary, this stylish holiday apartment standing as one of a pair, with stunning views from the large balcony is in an idyllic location. A five-minute stroll leads to the heart of one of Cornwall’s most picturesque coastal towns. Fowey’s narrow streets, steps and alleys run steeply down the quays and estuary, and there is an excellent choice of shops, coffee shops, curio shops, pubs and restaurants (local seafood a speciality). A town tourist bus provides sightseeing trips during the high season where one of the UK’s top yachting centres can be visited, with ample opportunities for sailing and other water sports, as well as boat trips to see dolphins and seals. Eden project just 7 miles away and St Austell, 8 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 10 yards.

  5. The property is in a wonderful location overlooking the river with a good sized balcony. It is very convenient for walking to shops, pubs and restaurants. The coastal path is also only minutes away and there are ferries to catch to various places. The house was warm (we were there early November), very clean and well equipped. We had a very enjoyable holiday. Oct 2010.

  9. Loved the view great location overlooking the river, is a bit of a trek up from the village for elderly people, but a cab back for 3.50 cures that! Had a great week at Sea scape would go back. April 2010.

  14. Its an excellent property and the views are to die for. Very quiet and peaceful, immediately relexing. Fowey is a truely lovely place excellent for eating out for all pockets, lovely shops no tackiness at all. We cannot wait to go back, and will do. There are a couple of things which the owner could do, a lick of paint and new lamp shades they are all stained. We also found a lot of the bulbs had gone. But the kitchen was well equipped lovely setting and we ate breakfast on the balcony most mornings, fantastic for October. All in all lovely place, with prime location and the views well what can i say.! Just a another thing it does say there is a flat screen TV, well it was about 10/12inches diameter. If you are F1 fans like we were, it did make watching it quite uncomfortable. Please invest in a larger TV so you can actually watch it. Oct 2009.

  17. The view was amazing. Fowey is a wonderfully pretty village and this apartment has one of the best locations to see the estuary and all the comings and goings of the boats. Aug 2009.
  18. Seascape has the most amazing view over the Fowey estuary from its balcony. It’s a wonderful place to chill out of an evening before and after dinner. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes’ walk, serving a range of meal options from fish & chips to Chateaubriand. There are many cliff top and woodland walks available to guests without the need to drive. The locals and visitors tend to be pretty decent respectable folks. June 2009.

  20. Really enjoyed both the accommodation and the setting. Fowey is a beautiful place to be and the views from the flat were wonderful. Think that you would get more out of a trip to Cornwall when it isn’t January as some of the attractions weren’t open or were not fully open, would definitely go again though. Jan 2009.
