This bright and attractive first floor holiday apartment, situated in the grounds of the owner’s property, enjoys stunning views across Strathglass. The balcony overlooks spacious gardens set in mature birch woodlands, bordered by a pretty stream. It is an ideal base to relax and explore the Highlands, with many tourist attractions a short drive away. Local amenities include fishing, walking and bird watching in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Glen Affric and Strathfarrar are both close by. Cruises on the Moray Firth and Loch Ness are highly recommended. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Open tread stairs to first floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with patio doors and wooden floor. 1 double bedroom (zip and link, can be twin). Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Oil central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Satellite TV. Video and small library. DVD and small library. Stereo/CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Wi-fi. We had a lovely welcome by the owner and the welcome pack including milk and teabags was very much appreciated after our long journey. Quality fittings and provisions of all the essential staff in kitchen, bathroom and bedroom made our short stay more enjoyable. Be careful not to bump your head in the low slopping ceiling in the bedroom. Excellent accommodation for a short stay. May 2012.
  3. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The property is compact, however, with sloping roofs you do need to be aware, but it has all you need for two people. Wonderful views from the balcony and plenty of wildlife to be seen in the area. First class holiday flat for a peaceful get away. There is a garden table and chairs for use when the weather is nice as well as the balcony furniture. Good selection of local shops in Beauly. March 2012.

  5. This is a lovely property and the welcome we received from the owners was wonderful. Even though it was pouring with rain they went to so much trouble to have everything perfect. The location is perfect to visit so many things in the area and the icing on the cake was the bird life below our balcony which greeted us every morning. We would thoroughly recommend this property.   7. The apartment is well equipped with all ’mod-cons,’ and boasts a peaceful location, but at the same time not too far to drive for sight-seeing e.t.c. The owners are very accommodating and don’t worry, the bottom half of the apartment is not lived in. 1 word of caution though, if you are 6ft tall or more, because the apartment is in the roof-space you will find that you spend a lot of the time ensuring that you don’t bang your head! The property was perfect, the owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in a stunning part of Scotland with easy access to great locations for sight seeing and bird watching.
