Property Description

Created from a barn next to the owner’s farmhouse, these two well appointed holiday cottages, adjoining a 20-acre small holding with farm animals, are less than a mile from the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac with magnificent sea and countryside views from the patio. The coastal footpath is nearby and it is a good area for walking, fishing, horse riding, water sports and golf. The sandy beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock are not far away, with a ferry from Rock to Padstow, where bicycles may be hired for a ride along the Camel Trail to the market town of Wadebridge, (9 miles by road). Shop and pub 1 mile.

Ground floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. First floor: Living/dining room/kitchen.

Travel cot and high chair. Dishwasher.

Both cottages: Oil central heating, electricity and bed linen included. Video. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared coin-operated laundry facilities adjacent. Fridge/freezer. Private patio and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Two pets welcome (farm animals).

  6. The cottage was lovely, very dog friendly and was in a very peaceful location but within 15 minutes walking distance of Port Isaac. The information booklet in the property could have done with updating but that was the only very small criticism. We had good weather which always helps. March 2011.

  16. Warm, friendly greeting from owners. Well stocked with everything you need. Ideally situated for beautiful walks, outdoor activities. Cosy to come home to after full day out. We all had a fantastic time (including dog). Will be returning to same accommodation again this year. Feb 2008.
