1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

In a delightfully secluded location, just 5 miles from the spectacular North Cornish Coast, these two delightful holiday properties have been furnished and equipped to the highest standards and boast many character features, each with beamed ceilings and homely wood-burning stove, making them superb cosy retreats at any time of year. Set on a working farm, the Cottage adjoins the owners’ home, and is a conversion of an old farmhouse, whilst the Barn stands detached and once served as the milking shed. The sandy surfing beach of Widemouth Bay is within a few miles, with dramatic coastal scenery at Tintagel, Boscastle and Crackington Haven. Golf, riding and seaside attractions in Bude. Walking on Bodmin Moor and along the coastal path. Shop and pub 1½ miles.

  1. Fantastic detatched cottage in a quiet location, yet only a few minutes from main road which gives easy access to the rest of Cornwall, or up into Devon. Although its on a working farm there is no intrusion on the peace & quiet. Local shops, garage, pub etc are a few minutes by car, or about 20+ minutes walk. April 2012.

  4. Was a wonderful property - very peaceful and very relaxing. Slept in almost everyday as was so quiet even though it is a working farm. The owners bent over backwards to help with any questions we had and we were always stocked up with wood for the wood burning stove. Dec 2011.
  5. Meadow Barn was a delightful place to stay; quiet, beautiful countryside, but not too far from the coast. Liz and Jon had provided everything you could need and more in the barn, with a lovely welcome of a cake, bottle of wine and chocolates. You were invited to explore the farm if you wished,but you were not aware of the day to day running of the farm from the position of Meadow Barn. It was a lovely base to return to after a days touring round. Sept 2011.
  6. Beautiful barn conversion, with everything you could wish for, in a really peaceful location. Its also close to the Atlantic Highway so you can easily get to many of the places to visit in Cornwall. This was our 3rd visit and have already booked to return next spring. Sept 2011.

  9. This was our second visit to Meadow Barn and we were not disappointed - still one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. A totally relaxing holiday - 5 star hotel treatment in a self-catering environment. Please keep this one on you books! We will be back. June 2011.
  10. We have been self-catering at home & abroad for 20 years and this was the best equipped place we have stayed. Little touches like welcoming wine, tea and a lovely cake to bath robes and toiletries. It was excellent. April 2011.

The property was perfect for a secluded countryside retreat and as a cosy winter base for exploring the wonderful surrounding countryside, including the South West Coastpath an Bodmin Moor (30 min drive away). The owners had thoughtfully prepared the cottage for our arrival and we had every comfort we could need. The log fire was particularly welcome in the evenings after a day out walking in the fresh winter air. All in all I couldn’t think of any improvements needed: The Barn suited us perfectly. Feb 2011.
