Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Beautiful cottage, a real home from home. The owners have thought of everything. Our 2 year old daughter particular loved the toys in the shed and the little wendy house in the garden! We loved the bath and the views. May 2012.
  2. This was a quite exceptional holiday home. Outstandingly well equipped, with comfortable furniture, spotlessly clean and everything to a high standard. It was wonderfully warm, despite the cold and windy May weather. The whole cottage indicates the owners’ interest in the property and attention to detail. May 2012.
  3. We had a lovely welcome tray with tea and cake. A bottle of wine and some chocolates were also left in the lounge. Flowers were also left. It was like walking into a home rather than a rented cottage. Thoroughly recommended. 5 star! April 2012.
  4. Treforda Cottage is lovely, its tucked away but has very good transport links to get anywhere in Cornwall by road. The cottage itself is beautiful and well equipped. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely cake and information sheet. The highlights were the amazing Bath, the log burner and the four poster bed! Oh and waking up with deer in the fields!! In terms of recommendations, ensure you eat at Bud Castle "Cafe" on a Sunday where the Sunday lunch (beef or pork belly) was absolutely out of this world. Sept 2011.
  5. Cosy and very well equipped. Feb 2011.
  6. Very nice and clean accomodation. Attention to detail was really good. Oct 2010
  7. Excellent attention to detail, superb accomodation, very clean and very well equipped. Aug 2010.
  8. Lovely cottage in a great location. The owner had thoughtfully provided everything we needed. July 2010.
  9. Excellent property very well equipped a real home from home. The arrival gifts were much appreciated. June 2010.
  10. The property was immaculate with every possible contingency catered for. On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine, cake, milk in the fridge and flowers. There was a letter of welcome and clear instructions for all equipment. There were even wellies in the shed!! March 2010.
  11. It has everything you may need in terms of utensils and home. March 2010.
  12. Well equipped and nicely furnished. March 2010.
  13. An outstanding cottage. Lovely touches and spotless. The owners were very friendly and our children loved the tour of the farm. 10/10. Feb 2010.
  14. Beautifully furnished and excellently equipped, this was a home away from home. Sept 2009.
  15. Fantastic cottage - just beautiful. Aug 2009.
  16. Weather was poor, but the excellent property meant we didn’t mind staying in if the weather was really bad. One of the best properties we have stayed in, certainly the best equipped with very thoughtful touches and greeting gifts. July 2009.
  17. The photographs of this property really don’t do it justice at all - it is absolutely beautiful. The surroundings are glorious, it was lovely just to be able to relax in the privacy of the lawn area. Everything you could possibly need is provided with this property and we love it so much we are going to come back next year - we’ve never ever done that before! All in all, we think your company should invent a new category for us to rate this property outstanding! June 2009.
  18. First time with your company. Exceeded expectations. Welcome goodies a very pleasant surprise. Holiday just what we needed. Rest & relaxation. Very quiet. The owners left us to our own devices, but were there if needed. Perfect. May 2009.
  19. A really stunning cottage with so many nice touches. We didn’t actually meet the owners but there was a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting when we arrived. We really appreciated it! I would recommend it to anyone. Nov 2008.
  20. Easily the best equipped cottage we’ve stayed in, very comfortable, practical and cosy and a fantastic welcome. The photo’s didn’t do it justice! Sept 2008.
