Property Description

This semi-detached holiday cottage is within a World Heritage Site. Backing onto a beautiful landscaped garden the property boasts a lovely bright conservatory, patio and a summer house in a secluded part of the garden. Set in the hamlet of Tremar Coombe just 1/2 mile from the village of St Cleer with its pub and local produce store, it makes a perfect place from which to explore all that this part of Cornwall has to offer. It is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor with walks from the door. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

Ground floor: Living room. 2 steps down to kitchen, conservatory/dining area and shower room with toilet. First floor: 1 double bedroom (no door).

Electric woodburner in living room included. Underfloor heating in kitchen and bathroom and electric heaters included (£30per week October-March). Bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Use of landscaped garden with lawned area and patio with furniture. Barbecue. Parking (1 car). Cycle store. No smoking. No children except babies. NB: Pond 20 yards from property.

  2. We enjoyed a comfortable stay in a well appointed cottage in spite of the wet weather. The guidance from the owners on local amenities was very useful. Had the weather been better, we would probably made better use of the local public transport. Only 35 minutes from the Eden Project and 20 minutes from Looe, and easy access to the moor it is an ideal location. June 2012.

  7. The property was lovely & just what we had envisioned although slighty smaller than we imagined. The owners were very friendly & helpful & also put effort into the small details that make a holiday that much nicer. On arrival we were given a loaf of home made bread & other basics to get us started. The only negative was that although there was a pub &village within walking distance we had to do a lot of driving all week to reach the other places of interest & we would have with hindsight liked to be in a more lively area.
