Property Description

Set high above the North Cornish Coast Path in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these three holiday cottages enjoy views towards Trebarwith Strand - a good beach for surfing. Adjoining one another and converted to a high standard, they have all retained much character - with beamed ceilings and slate flagged floors; with Purlinney also boasting a superb fireplace with a clome oven dating back to the 15th century.
Set on a working farm, all three holiday cottages have their own sitting-out area and enjoy a superb tranquil location.
Within a few miles are a selection of beaches including Polzeath, the sailing resort of Rock and the dramatic scenery of Boscastle and Tintagel. Eden Project within a ¾ hour’s drive. Shop 1½ miles.

Beamed living/dining room with rugs on slate floor and door to courtyard. Well-equipped kitchen with inglenook fireplace and two clome ovens. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. Bathroom with over-bath shower. First floor: Double bedroom (5ft bed) with en-suite shower room. Beamed twin bedroom. Both bedrooms with sea views and wooden floor.

  8. The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was an easy cottage to feel at home in and having views of the sea was a real bonus. The location was superb as it was on a quiet lane but with a fantastic walk (though a little steep on the way back!) to the beach and snack bars etc. April 2010.

  10. The cottage is lovely, with 2 ensuite bedrooms and a very large bathroom. There is a nice sitting out decked area with lovely views over the countryside to the sea for warm evenings. Cottage facilities are generally good, the living room might be a squeeze for 6 but it’s close to a local pub and you can walk down to the sea (with a steep climb back up!). The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back to these cottages. Sept 2009.

  12. You should make more of the fantastic location of this property. The walks across the farm associated with the property were wonderful. There is a valley that is even highlighted by Disney as one of the best sites in Europe to visit for its nature. June 2009.
  13. Excellent base for some serious walking, particularly using the coastal path. Walks can be challenging, but well worth it for the spectacular coastal scenery. The owners are helpful and friendly, and the accommodation is first class. Sept 2008.
