Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely location, friendly welcome, warm house... hadnt thought that it might slightly smell of dog as pets are welcome, but I guess we should have thought of that. Well equipped, beautiful views, a great weekend break. Nov 2012.
  2. Top Cottage is so cosy we couldn’t wait to get back to it each day! Our little boy and little dog were both made to feel so welcome, loads of bits and bobs to keep them happy. There was everything we needed too. Would love to return one day. Sept 2012.
  3. Quaint cottage with plenty of books, games, DVD’s, CD’s for all ages. Aug 2012.
  4. Our hosts were so friendly and nothing would have been to much trouble. The cottage was everything we thought a cottage would be and equipped much better than we are at home. Very quiet location. Even though backed by a housing estate we saw no one but our hosts. The weather was not warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of the fields and moors from the front of the house. One wish would have been we’d picked a cottage in the Dales. Shame our Geography so poor! May 2012.
  5. This is a truly lovely place to stay, with a wonderful ambiance and just about every little thing you’d need during a stay in a holiday home - from scissors and bathroom cleaners to DVDs and children’s toys. The owners clearly have amassed enormous expertise, during the 23 years the cottage has been a holiday home, in ensuring their guests are happy and well cared for. April 2012.
  6. Lovely cottage, well equipped and offering excellent value-for-money. Cosy, but with enough room for us (parents with two small kids), and plenty of toys to enjoy! A few miles from the Dales NP, but with great views and a helpful, friendly owner next door. Would recommend this to others. Oct 2011.
  7. Beautiful cottage and views with a warm welcome. May 2011.
  8. Lovely olde-world cottage in keeping with the nature of the Bronte area. Owner is very accommodating and friendly. March 2011.
  9. The property is pretty easy to find and is really quiet and a good situation for days out in the area. Sept 2010.
  10. Very clean, cosy and had absolutely everything you needed for a pleasurable holiday. March 2010.
  11. This cottage was a perfect location for exploring West Yorkshire. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom would benefit from updating. Generally a good welcoming base for two people and a dog. Feb 2010.
  12. Well equipped down to the smallest detail. Nov 2009.
  13. The owners were delightful & VERY helpful. Excellent travel & sightseeing advice as well as a genuine interest in how we were enjoying ourselves. Very well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Aug 2009.
  14. View over fields fantastic also their garden. June 2009.
  15. The owner has certainly created a home from home here. She has certainly add the finishing touches; too many to list. A lovely friendly welcoming lady who is always on hand to be of service. Jan 2007.
  16. An ideal property for dogs (we took 3 and had no problems at all). The garden is easily accessible from the front of the cottage and very safe as the cottage is away from the main road. Oct 2008.
  17. This quaint cottage had everything we needed for our holiday and had wonderful views. The owners were both friendly and helpful. We took part in the 1940’s weekend in nearby Haworth which we thoroughly enjoyed too. May 2009.
  18. Did all the searching and booking on the web but when a problem arose, helpful staff rang me and sorted it efficiently and in a very friendly way. The cottage was a home from home, I have never been in a holiday cottage with so much thought for details, eg. kitchen equipment. My stay was a combined break/working trip and really worked out well. My landlady was delightful and we even had the excitement of an attempted break in just before my arrival so all good fun. We are defintitely booking through you again. The 4 nights for the price of 3 was a good offer for that time of year. Feb 2006.
  19. For such a small cottage the facilities were better than anything we have had before. The kitchen was so well equipped we couldn’t believe it. There were so many little details that had been thought of it was amazing. Aug 2006.
