Situated in the picturesque village of ‘Bonnie Strathyre’, in the heart of the Trossachs National Park, this detached bungalow has stunning views from its enviable location. It offers spacious holiday accommodation, and access to woodland walks and cycle paths. Whether climbing, walking, cycling, or wildlife spotting (look out for red squirrels in the garden) there is plenty to do close by. Other activities available locally include golf, horse riding/trekking, fishing, water sports and cycle hire. Ideal for families, it makes a perfect retreat from which to explore the stunning scenery of the Trossachs. The village shop and three pubs are within walking distance, and within a short drive you have the beautiful Loch Katrine, Killin with the spectacular Falls of Dochart, and the town of Callander which offers many restaurants, coffee shops, arts and crafts outlets and a visitor’s centre. Loch Lomond, Fort William, Oban, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with its superb shopping and vibrant night life, are a little further afield.

This property is close to Gleneagles where the 2014 Ryder Cup took place, come and play a round of golf all year round on this world-renowned course.

  1. Really well equipped accommodation in beautiful area of Scotland. Best nearby supermarket is Tesco in Dunblane although there is a small Tesco Extra on Callander. Very steep (short) driveway down to property so no problem unless icy conditions. Quiet rural location with red squirrels to feed in garden - amazing ! Will definitely return so we can relax in the sunroom in (hopefully) some sun! Don’t miss the boat trip on Loch Katrine (SS Sir Walter Scott) - beautiful views and alcoholic coffees on sale on board - nice! Swept 2012.

We all really enjoyed the warm welcome and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely use it again and have already recommended it to a friend.   4. Excellent cottage in a lovely setting. Owners have thought of everything that you may need whilst away from your own home, even down to hot water bottles. Wildlife around the cottage also exciting, especially the red squirrels that visit the garden throughout he day. March 2012.
  5. A Beautiful, spacious, homely property to get away from it all. Beautiful walks and scenery in every direction. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room so no need to worry about getting dirty or wet. Brilliant games, tv, internet facilities. Log burner to keep you so warm you’ll have to open the windows! You will not be cold here! Lots of wild life on the doorstep to enjoy. Fantastic food at the local pub who specialise in guest ales to try something a little different. So nice we wanted to move in.   9. Lovely roomy house with lots of extras, books, DVDs, games and all you could need in a kitchen, that only added to the comfort of the holiday. Laundry room was great when there were a few of us. Garden fun but not so good for young children or disabled. June 2010.
