Property Description

Located in the popular village of Tiddington, this is a Grade II listed, Georgian, detached period property, built around 1820. Fully restored, it retains original features such as sash windows and some original doors which are complemented by the contemporary finish and facilities. Tiddington is just a mile and a half from the thriving market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. In the village there are a number of shops for everyday requirements as well as two restaurants, a public house and delicatessen. Local attractions (apart from Stratford) include nearby National Trust properties Charlecote House, Coughton and Packwood House. Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle are only a 20-minute drive. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a mere 1½ miles, Leamington Spa 9 miles, Birmingham 25 miles and Warwick Parkway train station 8 miles making London Marylebone only a 85-minute journey. Shop and pub 50 yards.

  2. This house was absolutely brilliant. Classy and homely at the same time. It was beautifully kept, fantastically well equipped and the garden was delightful. It was very quiet; despite being on a fairly large road. We wanted a base for a weekend to go to the RSC - it was an easy walk to the theatre which avoided needing lots of cars and paying for parking etc. I would thoroughly recommend it - we are certainly thinking of returning!   3. We had a brilliant weekend at this excellent property. It is well fitted and kept very well. The kitchen has everything you would need to make virtually any meal although we used one of the very local takeaways and the pub opposite. It’s not as rural as the sort of thing we normally go to but the small walled garden is a bit of a sun-trap. May 2012.

  5. Great location - 1 1/2 mile level walk into Stratford so no need to use a car all weekend. Indian, Chinese, One-stop shop, tapas bar and off licence all within a few yards - brilliant! Jan 2012.
  6. The property had lots of character being Georgian and our French guests were charmed. The house was on the small side but very well appointed. It was nicely decorated for Christmas and the owners left us an amazingly generous selection of Christmas goodies. All in all a great success. Dec 2011.

  8. We had 2 properties, the Grove Farm in Chewton Mendip and the Tiddington House in Tiddington. Both were excellent and the Grove Farm accommodated all 10 of us. We had only 6 at the Tiddington. Both were excellent!!! June 2011.

  14. We arrived very late in the evening in quite thick snow and ice so we really appreciated the fact that the house was warm, beautifully tidy and generally most welcoming. The owner was extremely helpful on the phone and not only gave us exact directions and instructions about the house but also recommended local facilities and advised us on bus routes etc. Having two separate living rooms was an excellent accommodation, and the kitchen area was lovely .... really easy to use !! We also particularly enjoyed having a real dining room !! Nov 2010.
  15. Wonderful place to stay, only minutes from Stratford Upon Avon. We made full use of the house and enjoyed dinners in and relaxing in the lounge. The owner are great too, extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to return. Oct 2010.
