  1. The Wests is a lovely cottgae in beautiful surroundings. July 2012.
  2. Excellent well appointed spotlessly clean let, well equipped with everything you need, wonderful views from the French windows, smiles all round after a long and tiring journey, we especially liked the freshly cut flowers and bottle of wine on our arrival, a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. May 2012.
  3. The cottage was beautifully kept. Brilliant location. May 2012.
  4. We found ’The Wests’ to be an excellent base for our holiday. The property has superb views. Internally it is tastefully furnished with ceramic tiled and real wood floors. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Private parking outside the cottage. March 2012.
  5. Spot less, everything was quality could not fault it. March 2012.
  6. An excellent cottage with everything you needed, including a breadmaker with all the ingredients provided. A beautiful vase of flowers and a bottle of wine welcomed us and the cottage was immaculate. Nov 2011.
  7. Really well presented and equipped, lovely touches like tea, coffee etc, fresh flowers and wine. Amazing location with beautiful views. We booked as an extended family with the other 2 properties and it was as near to perfect as can be - personal space and great communal space in Riccal Heads. Oct 2011.
  8. The owners have done a really good conversion of these barns. The property was clean and the efficient underfloor heating kept it cosy at all times. It is in a really quiet and private location and in an excellent position for walking. May 2011.
  9. The accommodation was excellent and really great for my partner and I. Very clean and absolutely well setup. The mod cons and other facilities were superb and loved being there. Would certainly seriously consider going back. As everything was as described and could get around accommodation, didnt need the caretaker, was really a break at home away from home. Jan 2011.
  10. On arriving the property looked brand new and finished to an excellent standard. The build quality, colours and choice of fittings were great and spot on. The views were excellent and it provided a perfect peaceful hideaway. The pub in the village was quaint and homely, the food good but very eighties! Would defiantly recommend to others and perfect for great walks. Nov 2010.
  11. Spotlessly clean and extremely well kitted out. Oct 2010.
  12. Excellent location and a quality cottage, home from home with great attention to detail, bright clean and spacious, the owners, Judi & Jim were available for information if needed, a wealth of information was available in the cottage. fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, so nice we have booked again for march next year!!!, It’s refreshing to find a cottage of this standard, and the owners deserve all the success this brings. Sep 2010.
  13. Lovely complex of barns, recently converted to very high standard. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and this rates as one of the best. Sep 2010.
  14. We were extremely pleased and happy with The Wests. The view from the lounge french doors was excellent and much enjoyed. Our hosts were happy to answer and help when we had a couple of questions. The whole stay was first class. Sept 2010.
  15. The Wests is light, modern, well-equipped and beautifully furnished (no chintz in sight!) The view through the French windows over open countryside is an added bonus. There is plenty to do and see in the area, whatever the weather, and the holiday surpassed our expectations. We would definitely go again. Sept 2010.
  16. These property’s are new (as first guests we were shown around all 3 property’s by Judi Bailey) and have been built using local sourced stone to the exterior and modern efficient internal materials. The internal fixtures, furnishing and equipment have all been thoughtfully chosen by the owners giving a high standard of comforts. There are fabulous views from The Wests over the countryside/moors to the distant hills. Sept 2010.
