Property Description

Whirlpool bath and four poster beds, and sauna (in CV33)

Common Moor is an area of Bodmin Moor bounded by the River Fowey, with beautiful riverside and woodland walks at Golitha Falls, to the west. To the north is pre-historic moorland with stone circles, burial stones, stone age settlements and 18th and 19th century tin mining buildings. Walking, fishing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing are just some of the activities that can be found at nearby Siblyback Lake. Both north and south coasts with their rugged coastlines and golden beaches are easily reached as are well known gardens such as the Eden Project and many NT properties. Liskeard, 5 miles, has a choice of shops, restaurants and leisure centre, whilst local pubs offer good value services. Both properties are situated in the small, quiet and peaceful hamlet of Common Moor and offer a very good standard of holiday accommodation with their own private gardens and offer the ideal resting place for visting Cornwall. After an enjoyable day why not relax in your own whirlpool bath, or if you are in The Warren, have a sauna and whirlpool bath!

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 1 double (four poster) bedroom with en-suite bathroom with whirlpool bath, sauna, shower cubicle and toilet.

Oil central heating and bed linen included. Electricity by meter reading. Cot. Video. Electric cooker. Microwave. Enclosed garden and furniture. Barbecue. Pets free of charge.

  1. First Christmas break together it was amazing. Xmas tree was up and ready for xmas day. Mince pies and clotted cream left in fridge for a little nibble. Plus a bottle of bucks fi and some sweets. Owners popped in to check all is ok but did not see them again till the end of the holiday. Quiet little village so it was great to be able to lock the door and enjoy the time chilling out over xmas. Dec 2011.
  2. The owner was very helpful, with out being obtrusive. The sauna and whirlpool bath in the property were an added bonus. The local countryside is beautiful with plenty to do close by. The property was well maintained and very clean. The added extras such as cream teas and milk in the fridge, along with the good selection of DVD’s was fantastic. A car is vital. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Feb 2011.

  4. The cottage, in a lovely private location was very clean and cosy for our arrival. We were made very welcome with fresh flowers in the cottage and a cornish cream tea in the fridge. The enclosed garden was really great for our dog to play with her ball in. The kitchen had everything we needed for our holiday meals. Would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone as a great location to tour Cornwall. Sept 2010.
