Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Take your small boat with you for excellent access to Hickling Broad. Aug 2012.
  2. A wonderful spot - really quiet but not remote. Ideal for sailing, canoing and birdwaching. Not really good for small children. We were unaware that the cooker hob was induction. It is important people know if this is the case, as pacemaker users need to take care. June 2012.
  3. Peaceful place to be at one with nature. Fun to see the sailing boats. May 2012.
  4. Excellent property with direct access to the broad, you can hire a rowing boat from the boat yard near the accommodation which also offers a discount for staying at the studio. The walks were great and the location excellent for looking aroung Norfolk. Oct 2011.
  5. This property has an outstanding location for people who enjoy watching nature and a quiet time and messing about in small boats . 21st century convenience is a short car ride away to Tesco. The North Sea and sandy beaches are 10 minutes by car. The people who followed our week came across the Atlantic to stay in this little cottage. Be prepared to be very close to nature; the Egyptian geese and Mallard ducks have a prior claim to the surrounding lawn. Aug 2011.
  6. Fantastic location for sailors or canoeists as you can get straight on the Broad from the garden of the Studio. Loads of wildlife on the doorstep. very quiet and tranquil. May 2011.
  7. Clean, warm, well-cared for. Nov 2010.
  8. Beutiful setting & secluded. The cottage is somewhere you will want to go back to time and time again. Oct 2010.
  9. Unique situation close to the edge of Hickling Broad, perfect for birdwatchers. Sept 2010.
  10. A lovely quiet spot all on its own with a historic background. Aug 2010.
  11. The fact that we were "out of the way" and our outlook onto the broad. Also, that the property had a history and had pictures of the artist on the walls. July 2010.
  12. Peaceful. July 2010.
  13. Property in brilliant location. April 2010.
  14. Super location. Jan 2010.
  15. Great position on Hickling Broad. Comfortable property with real atmosphere and seclusion. Oct 2009.
  16. A wonderful, peaceful location without being remote. A delight to wake up and look over the lawn to Hickling Broad. Outside your window are ducks, geese, moorhens, coots and, if you are really lucky, Marsh Harriers, Egyptian Geese and Chinese Water Deer. Peace, perfect peace. May 2009.
  17. A delightful, quiet property allowing for a totally relaxing holiday. Feb 2009.
  18. The Studio was better than we were expecting, couldnt have been more relaxing and so much wildlife right on your door step. A peaceful place to escape to and unwind and relax with nobody to bother us. March 2009.
  19. Very peaceful location, wildlfe in abundance. April 2008.
