Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. It was a delightful cottage, very well equipped and in a beautiful setting. June 2012.
  2. We had a wonderful, relaxing break. The owners had made every effort to make us as comfortable as possible, we would definitely recommend this cottage and stay there again. Feb 2012.
  3. Fantastic property, with everything we needed for our short break over New Year. So welcoming and cosy (with the wood burning stove) that we changed our plans and ate ’at home’ every night. Dec 2011.
  4. The owners were absolutely tremendous, so friendly and accommodating. The cottage has everything you could possibly want and was a gem. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Oct 2011.
  5. The Cottage was superb and the photos did not do it justice. The layout and features (like the jet bath, large shower and log fire) made it perfect for a romantic getaway. Couldn’t have asked for more from the propserty and the owners were very welcoming. Oct 2011.
  6. Lovely property, very clean and well kept. The welcome basket and toys were a nice touch. Sept 2011.
  7. Horseshoe cottage is lovely, the welcome pack was fantastic and very thoughtful. The owners are very friendly and there for advice on where to visit. The cottage is very clean, best we’ve ever stayed in. Lovely big shower and bed! Close to the Lakes and Scotland, something to do every day, and the fresh eggs daily and veg were lovely. We will be going again next year. Aug 2011.
  8. A wonderful and private barn-conversion cottage, open plan and with good, modern amenities. In the middle of nowhere and yet right in the middle of many beautiful drives and walks, and the Lake District in general. Aug 2011.
  9. This cottage really is a perfect get-away for the North Lakes area. We stayed for four nights and found the cottage to be one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need - a real home from home. The cottage is one of three in a converted barn on a working farm. Whilst we were there in summer it would make an equally good cosy retreat in the winter as it has a log burner. The owners are friendly and helpful. July 2011.
  10. Excellent property equipped to a very high standard. Thoughtfully prepared in every way. July 2011.
  11. We were very impressed with this property. The interior was tastefully furnished and was the best equipped self catering property we’ve stayed in. Everything had been thought of from a decent hairdryer to a garlic press. The wood burner was a delight and we were provided with more than enough wood. There was an excellent information pack with instructions for everything in the cottage, and a very generous and much appreciated welcome pack. We had a fabulous short break and will be looking to return again. March 2011.
  12. Cottage built and furnished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Feb 2011.
  13. The property was stunning!! It was like home from home, just beautiful and the owners were very welcoming also, can’t fault anything. Feb 2011.
  14. Absolutely Faultless! I was a home from home and we wanted for nothing. A working farm but so peaceful and the owners were so helpful and friendly. Great views and a perfect location. Was spotlessly clean, highly recommend. Nov 2010.
  15. Very good level of equipment, appropriate, clean, decorated and furnished tastefully, books DVDs provided. A house to live in as a home. July 2010.
  16. Horseshoe cottage is pretty, spacious and presented to a very high standard. Although it’s the middle cottage of three, almost no noise travels through the walls. It’s a real haven. John and Nathalie are also really welcoming and genuine. April 2010.
  17. The holiday cottage was lovely and very homely, everything we required was there for us. The location was beautiful and peaceful also, we will definitely return in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay. Nov 2009.
  18. Finished to a very high standard with tasteful, neutral, colours and fittings. Oct 2009.
  19. Beautifully appointed accommodation ideal for a romantic break, quiet location but near many tourist attractions. Sept 2009.
  20. Wonderfully decorated and well thought through property. Sept 2009.
