Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. 1st class accommodation with everything you need. Owner very friendly and available if you need any help or advice. My only gripe was with the meadow opposite, to exercise the dog, the grass was long and therefore very wet. Sept 2012.
  2. I thought the "Stables" was excellent, everything was very well presented and modern, the shower was far superior than any we have had in our own homes over the years... Ten minutes from Yeovil centre, five minutes from village pub and well situated for those who love walking in the country. Jan 2012.
  3. Overall very nice location, very friendly, nice and quiet. Own field for your pet. Would use again. Sept 2011.
  4. Very compact. The combined kitchen/living room with bedroom and shower room adjoining suits us well when on holiday. It was clean, well equipped and quiet and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Sept 2011.
  5. The accommodation was just the right size for us and provided everything we needed. April 2011.
  6. We would recommend this particular holiday for those who wish to take their time wandering the countryside and then returning to a quiet haven. A very enjoyable holiday. May 2011.
  7. the stables is the most private and romantic hideaway cottage we have ever been to It is beautifully presented . The owners are so helpful a lovely couple. Well done Peter and Pauline. March 2011.
  8. This property is very tastefully furnished & decorated. A welcome tray was nicely put on the table along with fresh flowers. Also a pint of milk in the fridge. I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I would have liked a enclosed garden for my dog, but we did have a large field opposite to walk him. March 2011.
  9. Very quiet and out of the way. Sept 2010.
  10. This is a nice cottage in a quiet location, central to many places of interest. Aug 2010.
  11. It had everything there that was needed to make the holiday comfortable. Rooms were large, well and attractively furnished and plenty of storage and cupboard space. Outside area was comfortable and relaxing and in the main part secluded. June 2010.
  12. Very relaxing atmosphere, due to furnishing & colour schemes, plus location. June 2010.
  13. Comfortable, clean, down a very quiet lane but near to pubs and restaurants. June 2010.
  14. Everything that was needed was in the cottage. Modern fittings. Location pleasant but isolated. Aug 2009.
  15. The stables is a very comfortable place to stay, facilities were very good, surroundings were excellent and a very good place to stay to visit other areas. The owner was very helpful. Aug 2009.
  16. A very quiet and relaxing spot. Excellent for the dog! June 2009.
  17. Excellent cottage, beautifully furnished with outstanding views. The owners were friendly and always available to sort out any little problem (we struggled to close one of the windows) that arose. Thank you for the best holiday we’ve had for years. May 2009.
  18. This as our first time in booking self catering and the weekend was wonderful, but spoiled our second break as it just didn’t compare! The peace, tranquility and wildlife at The Stables was wonderful. March 2009.
  19. Very comfortable accommodation with all mod cons. Quiet and peaceful location with great access to the Dorset countryside. March 2009.
