Property Description

Set peacefully in East Coker, South Somerset, near the Dorset border, this single-storey detached converted stables is ideally situated to explore many attractions in both counties. Golf and fly fishing are available locally, and the famous World Heritage Jurrasic Coast with Westbay and Lyme Regis for wonderful scenery and walks is within easy driving distance. This holiday cottage is only 3 miles from Yeovil, a busy but pleasant market town, and 8 miles from Sherborne with its quaint shops, abbey and castle. Yeovilton Air Museum and many historic houses are nearby. Glastonbury, Cheddar and Bath are all easily accessible for days out. Shops 1 mile, restaurant and pub ¼ mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom. Shower room with toilet.

NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Parking (1 car). DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Patio and furniture. Welcome pack. No smoking.

  1. 1st class accommodation with everything you need. Owner very friendly and available if you need any help or advice. My only gripe was with the meadow opposite, to exercise the dog, the grass was long and therefore very wet. Sept 2012.
  2. I thought the "Stables" was excellent, everything was very well presented and modern, the shower was far superior than any we have had in our own homes over the years... Ten minutes from Yeovil centre, five minutes from village pub and well situated for those who love walking in the country. Jan 2012.

  8. This property is very tastefully furnished & decorated. A welcome tray was nicely put on the table along with fresh flowers. Also a pint of milk in the fridge. I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I would have liked a enclosed garden for my dog, but we did have a large field opposite to walk him. March 2011.
